The Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins have a Madden sim Monday at 12:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest centered around the matchup. You can set your lineup on DraftKings before kickoff.
Captain’s Picks
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Dolphins ($15,600)
It’s hard to key in on any of the Dolphins’ receiver, as many players aside from DeVante Parker are able to make an impact on the offensive end. Other options include Jakeem Grant, Albert Wilson, and Mike Gesicki. It’s hard to key in on one guy, so its best to key in on the distributor.
Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers ($16,200)
Roethlisberger’s situation is similar to Fitzpatrick’s. JuJu Smith-Schuster hasn’t been great, and James Conner has basically been a non factor out of the backfield. James Washington, Diontae Johnson, and Vance McDonald pick up the slack though.
Flex Men
Jakeem Grant, WR, Dolphins ($3,600)
Grant has shown promise as a special teams ace by scoring on kickoff returns, but is also a weapon in the slot. Given how diverse the Dolphins’ passing attack has been, you have to consider Grant in the flex.
Diontae Johnson, WR, Steelers ($5,200)
Johnson has scored in five of his last six sims and has a very affordable price. He almost always hovers around 10 DKFP and has a high floor for a pass catcher who doesn’t start. He might be the best value play in the contest.
