Updated Benitez-Morales odds, betting splits
In a lightweight battle as part of the preliminary card at UFC Jacksonville on May 13th, veteran Gabriel Benitez takes on Omar Morales in only the latter’s second UFC match.
Benitez is a former Ultimate Fighter: Latin America winner that’s moving up to lightweight for this late-scheduled bout. At 31 years old, he’s been unable to sustain any momentum in the promotion, with a 5-3 record since signing with Dana White. His last match was a first round knockout loss to Sodiq Yusuff.
Omar Antonio Morales Ferrer is his full name, and he looks to make it 10-0 in his career and 2-0 in UFC with a victory. Originally scheduled to fight Alexander Hernandez before all the Covid-19 changes, he’ll be fighting a man moving up from featherweight to take him on. His only other UFC appearance was a decision victory over Dong Hyun Ma.
