We’re in the second week of the 2020 KBO season. Five games are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, and ESPN2 will be airing a matchup between the KT Wiz and NC Dinos. We break down the top picks for a Showdown contest centered around the game on DraftKings, and you can set your lineup here.

Captain’s Picks

Hyun Soo Kim, OF, LG Twins: $14,400

Kim has the third highest batting average (.462) and also ranks second in hits (12). He’s tallied multiple hits in four of his six KBO games this season. He has one home run and seven RBI’s on the year. He seems like a better pick than Ricardo Pinto, who faced one of the KBO’s worst offensive teams in his season debut.

Roberto Ramos, 1B, LG Twins: $10,500

Ramos has just begun to emerge as a star and appears to be the best value captain’s pick. He’s hit three home runs in his last two games while tallying four RBIs and getting walked twice during that span. He gives you a ton of room to fill up utility spots with quality players and could very well be the games leading scorer from a fantasy perspective given his recent success.

Utility Picks

Dong Min Han, OF, SK Wyverns: $9,200

Han is third in the KBO in RBIs (10) and has eclipsed 15 DKFP in four times this season. His 1.550 OPS is also tops in the league. He has a .429 batting average and four home runs on the year, so it’s evident that he can get on base with power hitting.

Jin Gi Jeong, OF, SK Wyverns: $8,600

Jeong is one of the league’s more efficient batters. While he didn’t start Tuesday, he’s expected to bat leadoff Wednesday. He’s batting .500 with six its in 12 at-bats and has yet to be held scoreless in a contest. He’s tallied at least 18 DKFP twice in four games and seems like one of the Wyverns’ more productive players.
