UPDATED ODDS, BETTING SPLITS FOR IGE-BARBOZA

A pair of ranked featherweights will do battle on the main card of UFC Fight Night Jacksonville on May 16th when Dan Ige takes on Edson Barboza live from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Duval County, Florida.

Ige has an MMA record of 13-2, and 5-1 in UFC including the last five in a row. Those wins include two first-round stoppages and three decisions. Despite the normal length of his fights, he’s not afraid to mix it up, as 50% of his punches count as significant strikes.

Barboza at 34 years old has a record of 20-8 in MMA, and has been with the promotion since 2010. Five of his previous six victories have come via decision, though he’s dropped his last two bouts to Justin Gaethje and Paul Felder. He usually looks to win fights with his fists, as he’s averaging less than half a takedown every 15 minutes of octagon action.
