UPDATED ODDS, BETTING SPLITS FOR YADONG-VERA

A matchup of two ranked featherweights will be a part of the main card at UFC Fight Night Jacksonville on May 16th as Song Yadong faces Marlon Vera at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Yadong has a gaudy 15-1-1 record in MMA, and has yet to be defeated in a UFC octagon with a 4-0-1 record. He wins in multiple ways, with two KO’s, a submission and a decision since joining the promotion in 2017. The Chinese fighter originally studied Wushu before finding mixed martial arts, and is the #14 ranked featherweight entering the bout.

Vera has a 9-4 UFC record, including five wins in a row entering Saturday’s matchup. A participant in The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, the Ecuadorian native is 15-5-1 in MMA, and is 15th in the featherweight division. 57% of his wins in the octagon have come by submission, and he’ll likely look to take this fight to the mat.
