UPDATED ODDS, BETTING SPLITS FOR ELKINS-LANDWEHR

A veteran featherweight takes on a UFC newcomer as Darren “The Damage” Elkins faces Nate “The Train” Landwehr as part of the UFC Fight Night Jacksonville undercard on Saturday, May 16th at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Elkins has done it all in MMA, with a 25-8-0 record and has been a part of the UFC promotion since 2010. But he’s lost three straight fights, blemishing what was a championship-competitive record until then. He’s a balanced fighter that has skills with his fists and his ground game, averaging 3.36 significant strikes per minute, and 2.68 takedowns per match.

Elkins will have some special motivation on Saturday, as he looks to celebrate his 36th birthday with a win.

Landwehr is 13-3 as a pro, but lost his only appearance in the octagon to Herbert Berns in January in the first round by KO. Before that he had won five in a row in the M-1 promotion, and the 145-pounder out of Clarskville, Tennessee hadn’t lost since 2015 before he fell to Berns.

Here are the betting odds at DraftKings Sportsbook for Darren Elkins vs. Nate Landwehr at UFC on ESPN on May 16th:
