NASCAR returns for its second race in four days at Darlington Raceway with the Toyota 500 on Wednesday. The race gets underway at 6 p.m. with Ryan Preece on the pole. Race order was settled by inverting the top 20 finishers from last Wednesday’s Real Heroes 400.
Heading into race day, Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson are tops at DraftKings Sportsbook in betting handle, each with 13 percent of the total handle. Meanwhile, Johnson and Kyle Busch top the list for most total bets, each with nine percent. Harvick is right behind them there with eight percent, while Busch is third in handle at 11 percent.
Harvick and Busch are the two favorites, with Harvick at +400 and Busch at +650. Harvick won last weekend and dominated with 159 laps led on the 293 lap race. Busch was one of the favorites but stumbled to a 26th place finish. Johnson is at +1800 after an accident knocked him out to a 38th place finish. Johnson had led nine laps when he got knocked out, so there is some value there.
The longest odds showing up in the Darlington splits is Kurt Busch. At +2000 to win the race, he’s getting five percent of handle and total bets for this race.
