Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen will face off Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET. Both sides will be playing their second matches since the league restarted on May 16th after being shut down amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The game will take place at Borussia-Park and will be broadcast on FS2.

The return of soccer means you’re able to bet on outcomes at DraftKings Sportsbook. With the match a day away, we’ve got betting splits to indicate where the public is wagering in this content.

Mönchengladbach is favored by a small margin (+133) and looked dominant in its 3-1 win over Frankfurt last weekend. The win helped the team climb past Leipzig to secure third place in the standings — behind Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Its trio of Alassane Plea, Marcus Thuram, and Breel Embolo makes for a well-balanced attack that can score against any squad.

Leverkusen clocks in at +175 and pounded bottom-dweller Werder Bremen 4-1 on Monday. It fell short to Mönchengladbach 2-1 back in November at BayArena, so it could be tough to rebound and win on the opposing team’s turf. Leverkusen is only two points back in the standings and has gotten solid play from Kai Havertz alongside leading scorer and assist man Kevin Volland, but will likely be without Volland on Saturday. With that in mind, I think the home team has an advantage having faced tougher competition recently.

Mönchengladbach has 35 percent of the handle on bets surrounding the contest with 39 percent of bettors are predicting its victory. Leverkusen, on the other hand, has 46 percent of the handle and 41 percent of bettors betting on a road win. The 20 percent of bettors banking on a draw placed 20 percent of the handle on that outcome. The odds for a tie clock in at +265.on
