SC Freiburg and Werder Bremen will face off Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET. Both sides will be playing their first games since the Bundesliga restarted on May 16th. The game will be played at Schwarzwald-Stadion.
DraftKings Sportsbook has the betting splits for each team available ahead of match day. We’ll go over those, as well as the odds and lines here.
Freiburg (+114) is favored in this game. It managed to tie Leipzig 1-1 in its first game back from a lengthy break last week. Being able to hold off one of the most dynamic offenses in the league makes its chances to top the second worst team in the league look promising.
Werder Bremen is coming off a 4-1 loss to Bayern Leverkusen and could struggle to find offense on the road. Fortuna Dusseldorf gave Werder Bremen its last win on January 18th and is the only team with fewer goals than the Bundesliga’s 17th place team. Werder Bremen doesn’t seem close to turning its season around Saturday — especially against a to seven team.
Freiburg has an overwhelmingly high 86 percent of the handle on DraftKings Sportsbook with 81 percent of bettors predicting the favorite to come out on top. Werder Bremen has a measly 10 percent of the handle and has the support of 4 percent of the bettors. Bets on a draw made up 10 percent of the handle with 8 percent of bettors predicting that outcome.
