NASCAR’s Xfinity Series returns to action Monday evening with the Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The race gets underway at 7:30 p.m. on FS1. Ross Chastain has the pole position for the race, with Brandon Jones joining him on the front row. Row 2 features Justin Haley and Justin Allgaier and row 3 features Riley Herbst and Austin Cindric.
DraftKings is offering contests for the Xfinity Series race, and we can consider betting splits in figuring out lineup strategy. DraftKings Sportsbook is offering odds on the race, with Kyle Busch a heavy favorite at -134. Chase Briscoe follows him at +450, Justin Allgaier sits at +1000, and Harrison Burton and Ross Chastain are +1100.
The favorites are getting plenty of money, with Busch leading the way at 60 percent of handle and 17 percent of total bets. Allgaier follows him at 9 percent and 14 percent, respectively. It’s mostly favorites, but some longer shots are getting money as well. Austin Cindric is getting 3 percent of total handle with +1800 odds, and Daniel Hemric is getting 2 percent of handle at +2000.
Chastain is third with 7 percent of handle and tied for fifth with 7 percent of total bets. However, the pole sitter is tenth in price at $8,700. Jones beside him on the front row is $8,900. Compared to a $17,000 for Busch, or even $12,000 for Briscoe, there could be some value there.
One name not showing up in the most bet drivers is Ryan Sieg. He’s started seventh and in five races he has four top ten finishes, which is tied for second most. At $7,100 there’s considerable value to be had in tonight’s race.
