There’s no bigger match in football than what you’ll see today with Borussia Dortmund vs. Bayern Munich, and the entire soccer-loving planet focused on Westfalenstadion at 12:30 p.m. ET today.

Bayern are four points ahead of Dortmund with seven rounds of the Bundesliga to be played, but this is a six-pointer in every sense of the word. It’s likely a draw isn’t enough for BVB today: They’ll need a win to have much of a chance at the trophy.

These two teams have scored 29 goals in their last six domestic league matches, and it should be a display of what makes modern German so appealing: Daring runs, skilled passing in the midfield, and attack, attack, attack at all times.

The bettors seem to be choosing Bayern late, as the price on them to win has dropped from -120 yesterday to -132 this morning. A Dortmund win has been driven up to +285, a bit surprising considering they are the only unbeaten team at home in the Bundesliga this season. But with their famed Yellow Wall of passionate fans not able to attend, the fortress of Signal Iduna Park drops dramatically.

Here are the updated odds for Der Klassiker between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich today:

Odds 2:00 p.m. yesterday

Borussia Dortmund +255
Tie +310
Bayern Munich-120

Odds 8:00 a.m. today

Borussia Dortmund +285
Bayern Munich -132
Tie +325

The pick

Dortmund have simply looked more impressive since the restart of the league, and they’ll need to win outright to have a realistic chance of hoisting the trophy that’s eluded them so many times this decade. They get it done in front of an empty stadium today, and find a victory. We’ll take Dortmund to keep the Bundesliga interesting through the last six rounds. BVB 4-3 over FCB.
