Best, sleeper options to consider for NASCAR DFS at Charlotte on Wednesday

Can Chase Elliott follow up his second place finish from Sunday with a win on Wednesday? We think he has a good shot.

UPDATE: Rain has forced a postponement. The race will run on Thursday.

The NASCAR Cup Series’ Alsco Uniforms 500 is set to begin Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET at Charlotte Motor Speedway. DraftKings has DFS contests available for the race, and we break down some ideal picks and sleepers. You can set your lineup here.

Best Bets

Chase Elliott ($9,700)

Elliott had a great run at the Coca-Cola 600 after failing to finish his previous race and wound up finishing in second in a revenge race against Kyle Busch. He has the second best odds (+550) to win on DraftKings Sportsbook. Getting him as the sixth most expensive driver seems like a steal given how great he’s looked since NASCAR resumed.

Martin Truex Jr. ($9,400)

Truex is favored on DraftKings Sportsbook at +500 but is cheaper than Elliott. He led 87 laps at the Coca-Cola 600 and finished in sixth place. In this field of drivers, only Jimmy Johnson has more wins than him at Charlotte.

Sleeper Picks

Alex Bowman ($8,700)

Bowman might’ve finished 19th on Sunday, but had one of the best cars in the field. He led more laps than any other driver and won two stages. He’s far from a long shot and his price is desirable considering how well he performed his last time out at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Ryan Blaney ($7,900)

Blaney notched his second top five finish of the season over the weekend, finishing in fourth place at the Coca-Cola 600 after starting from 26th. He’ll start from 19th Wednesday, so there’s a chance he could build on his recent success by cracking the top five again.
