Lineup advice for LG Twins-KIA Tigers Showdown

Roberto Ramos has continued to dominate at the plate and should be one of the top captain’s options in Saturday’s Twins-Tigers Showdown.

The LG Twins and KIA Tigers are facing off in a KBO matchup Saturday at 1:00 a.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 and DraftKings will have Showdown contests available for the game. The Twins are only second to the NC Dinos in the league standings while the Tigers sit in fourth place. We break down the ideal lineup strategy below, and you can play here.

Captain’s Picks

Roberto Ramos, 1B, LG Twins: $12,600

Ramos went 3-for-4 Friday with a two run homer as his team took down the Tigers 6-2. He leads the league with 10 home runs and is one of the best power hitters we’ve seen this year. Despite his success, he’s still relatively inexpensive. In my opinion, he’s the most appealing captain’s option in the contest.

Preston Tucker, OF, KIA Tigers: $16,500

Tucker went 0-4 Friday, but is also a quality power hitter. He has six home runs on the year and leads the KBO with 24 RBIs. He’s the only Tigers position player averaging double-digits in fantasy points. If you’re going to pay up for a player who’s not a pitcher, Tucker is your guy.

Utility Picks

Chan Gyu Lim, SP, LG Twins: $10,200

Lim is the easily the best pitching option in the contest. The Twins only trail the Dinos in home runs and are riding a five-game winning streak. Lim is averaging 20.2 DKFP per game and has 21 strikeouts on the year through three starts. He’s been much more consistent than Lee.

Sun Bin Kim, SS, KIA Tigers: $8,000

Kim is top 10 in OPB (.449). While he’s dealing with an elbow injury and didn’t start Friday, he still got one at-bat off the bench. If he’s healthy enough to see time at the plate, he could return to his usual spot in the lineup Saturday. If he doesn’t play, consider his rookie replacement Gy Seong Kim ($4,00) as a value play.
