Lines for May 6th KBO schedule led by Doosan Bears vs. LG Twins on ESPN

We’re back for another day of the Korea Baseball Organization. Five games are scheduled for early Wednesday morning, with first pitch for each game set for 5:30 a.m. ET. ESPN will air the Doosan Bears vs. the LG Twins, with Karl Ravech and Eduardo Perez calling the game.

The KBO launched its 2020 season early Tuesday morning, with five games at 1 a.m. ET, including an ESPN broadcast of the NC Dinos and Samsung Lions. It’s too early to tell much given the five-game sample size, but for one night the oddsmakers accounted for the lines fairly well. Money line favorites were 3-2, teams laying the 1.5 on the run line were 3-2, and the totals were 2-2-1.

The most notable piece of news for the Wednesday schedule is that Tyler Wilson will not start for the LG Twins. Wilson was slated for the rotation, but his debut has been delayed while he gets ramped up after recent inactivity. Eun Beom Song will get the start. Considering he pitched exclusively from the bullpen last season, it’s not surprising the Bears are -162 on the money line. Bears -1.5 on the run line is +102, so if you’re looking for some value, that’s worth considering. Their bullpen was solid in the opener, but they’ll be stretched out a bit on Wednesday.
