DraftKings is kicking off the Weekend with a Showdown contest centered around Saturday’s Korea Baseball Organization matchup between the Hanwha Eagles and Kiwoom Heroes. The Eagles are 2-2 and looking to get over .500 while the Heroes are 3-1 and rank third in the league standings. We break down some ideal picks for the game, and you can set your lineup here.

Captain’s Picks

Byungho Park, 1B, Kiwoom Heroes: $15,000

Park is one of the league leaders in home runs (2) and is second to only the SK Wyverns’ Hang Don Min in that department. He’s batting .375 and has tallied five RBIs this season. He can be streaky though, as he’s notched three hits in two games and went hitless in two others. He isn’t much pricier than the second and third most expensive captain options. That could make selecting him worthwhile.

Jung Hoo Lee, OF, Kiwoom Heroes: $9,600

Lee leads all players in DKFP per game (15) and is even with Park in RBIs. The outfielder is batting .500, has one home run, and has yet to strike out. It’s hard not to roll with Lee when he’s been this good at the plate.

Utility Picks

Kwang Min Song, 2B/3B, Hanwha Eagles: $8,200

Song is batting .500 with one home run and three RBIs despite going 0-for-4 in his last outing. Like Lee, Song hasn’t struck out in 13 plate appearances. His consistency at the plate makes him a solid pick.

Jared Hoying, OF, Hanwha Eagles: $4,000

Most people will probably stack Heroes players in this contest, but Hoying is one of the best value plays available. The 30-year-old outfielder is batting .1888 but has a career batting average of.294. He tallied 48 home runs and 183 RBIs through his first KBO seasons, so he has the power to light it up. This could be the game where he finds momentum.
