Bryce Mitchell defeats Charles Rosa by unanimous decision

Bryce Mitchell and Charles Rosa meet at UFC 249 in a matchup of featherweights. We break down how the betting public is picking the fight.

Mitchell vs. Rosa results: Bryce Mitchell wins by unanimous decision.

On the preliminary card of UFC 249, featherweights Bryce Mitchell and Niko Price face off in a three-round bout live from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mitchell is considered a rising star in the octagon, with an impressive 12-1 record. Though he’s a small favorite over Rosa, this will be one of the toughest tests of his career. Rosa signed with UFC in 2014, but had to sit out almost two-and-a-half years with a neck injury that doctors said should end his career. He was able to return, and last October 18th he submitted Manny Bermudez to complete a tremendous comeback. Mitchell will be the second fight since his return.

Right now Mitchell is getting the respect of bettors at -162, and is receiving 59% of the money wagered as well as 66% of the tickets. Both these fighters don’t have a ton of history of knockouts, so you’ll have to put down $159 to win $100 on the bout going the full three rounds. But this is the only fight on the card where a knockout by either fighter pays better than 10-1.

Here are the updated betting lines for Bryce Mitchell vs. Charles Rosa at UFC 249.
