How to watch the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge, and featured groups for Thursday-Friday

The PGA Tour is back! The Charles Schwab Challenge gets underway early Thursday morning, with a field led by Rory McIlroy. We break down how to watch the event on television and via live online stream.

The PGA Tour restarts its 2019-2020 season on Thursday, June 1th at Colonial Country Club when the Charles Schwab Challenge tees off. This marks the first tournament in 12 weeks, and television coverage will be found on Golf Channel and CBS. Online streaming will be available on PGA Tour Live.

The tournament gets going bright and early Thursday morning, with PGA Tour Live coverage starting at 7:45 a.m. ET. It will have coverage all day Thursday and Friday until 7 p.m., with Golf Channel offering televised coverage from 4-7 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, PGA Tour Live will run from 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m., Golf Channel will air from 1-3 p.m. and CBS will air from 3-6 p.m.

Each day will have featured groups for coverage. For the two days before the cut, there will be four such groups. The first group will feature the top three players in the Official World Golf Ranking: Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Brooks Koepka. The second group will feature Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth. The third group will feature Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, and Justin Rose. The final group will feature Phil Mickelson, defending champ Kevin Na, and Gary Woodland.
