Darrick Minner has pulled out of his featherweight bout with Jordan Griffin at tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night on ESPN+ from Las Vegas.
Minner sent out a message via social media apologizing for the miss and to his opponent for being unable to perform. He says it was an illness as he woke up from a nap after trying to get down to the right number on the scales.

There has been no word on a replacement as of yet.
This is the third unusual happening on this card, with Ray Borg pulling out due to his son’s continued illness, and Karl Roberson coming in 4.5 pounds overweight for his fight with Marvin Vettori.
And Jessica Eye still hasn’t stepped on the scales 45 minutes into the two-hour window for fighters to make weight, and she’s missed weight previously by some big numbers in her career. She’s also on the main event of this card.
This is not the most smooth weigh-in morning for the UFC, that’s for sure.
