Best lineup strategy for Rams vs. Titans Madden simulation Showdown

The Rams should have most of the heavy hitters in Saturday’s Madden sim against the Titans. We break down some ideal picks for the matchup.

The Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans will face off in a Madden sim Saturday at 12:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contests centered around the game. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

It’s hard to pick out a top dog from the Rams’ receiving corps against the Titans, as Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, and Brandin Cooks are similar when it comes to overall rating. That’s why I think Jared Goff ($15,300) and Todd Gurley II ($12,300) are the best captain’s options. Goff will likely be rostered at a higher percentage because of his superior offense, and will likely spread the ball around to a plethora of receivers and Gurley. The signal caller has a good chance to throw for multiple scores.

Los Angeles winning by a considerable margin seems like a likely outcome in this game, as Derrick Henry hasn’t been good on the ground and the Rams have Aaron Donald on their defensive line. The Titans also don’t have a quality receiving corps, but will have to deal with Jalen Ramsey covering their top guy. That means Gurley could flourish by getting touches in garbage time.

Flex Men

Despite all the options at wideout, Tyler Higbee ($6,800) has managed to average 10.3 DKFP per game. He has one of the game’s best catch ratings (95) at his position. The Los Angeles defense ($3,600) is also worth a look in this game. It has elite talent on the defensive line and in the secondary and is matched up against a below average offense. The Rams could very well come away from this game having forced multiple turnovers.
