We take a look at all the odds for each of the Kings’ hypothetical NBA Finals opponents.

The NBA is planning to resume play in late July after putting the season on hold amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The Sacramento Kings have longs odds (+25000) to reach the finals, but they’re still in the hunt. They young squad led by De’Aaron Fox is expected to be on the outside looking in, but DraftKings Sportsbook is offering a Name the Finalists market for each team and their potential NBA Finals matchups. Let’s take a look at all the odds offered for the Kings.

Kings vs. Bucks: +40000
Kings vs. Celtics: +200000
Kings vs. Raptors: +200000
Kings vs. Sixers: +250000
Kings vs. Heat: +250000
Kings vs. Pacers: +500000
Kings vs. Magic: +500000
Kings vs. Nets: +500000
Kings vs. Wizards: +500000

The odds of the Kings meeting the Eastern Conference favorite Bucks clock in a +40000, so that gives you an idea about how unlikely it is that Sacramento will be competitive. The odds of every potential matchup after that are six figures.

I can’t say there’s necessarily a smart bet to make here, as Sacramento’s odds to reach the playoffs are +1100. I wouldn’t advise anyone to make a finals bet centered around Sacramento, but if you feel so inclined, roll with a potential Kings-Bucks finals matchup.
