DraftKings will have a small two-game La Liga slate on Wednesday, and we break down some ideal lineup strategies for the midweek matchups below. Real Sociedad will take on Alaves at 1:30 p.m. ET, followed Real Madrid facing off against Valencia 4 p.m. You can set your lineup here.

Mikel Oyarzball ($8,700) has contributed nine goals to go along with six assists this term for fifth place Real Sociedad and is up against an Alaves team that ranks 17th against forwards. He’ll likely be one of the more popular options in the slate, but consider Eden Hazard ($8,000) for more variance. He’s doesn’t score like Karim Benzema, but draws an abundance of fouls and thrives as a passer.

Martin Odegaard ($7,300) didn’t have the best June debut, but is about against a team that’s given up the second most points to midfielders. Many will be fixated on Real Madrid players here, but Odegaard gives you more flexibility and can achieve scores just as high as those priced above him. Portu’s ($6,600) is also appealing when you consider that he has a well-rounded seven goals and eight assists.

If you’re confident in paying up for a midfielder, Toni Kroos ($8,500) is your man. He has the second highest DKFP average in the slate and has will be highly involved against a team he dominated with 88 accurate passes and an assist earlier this season.

Marcelo ($6,200) is the priciest defender in the slate for good reason. He hasn’t made many appearances this season (12), but is aggressive getting forward and is one of the defenders most likely to make the net bulge. He’s allowed to get as creative as he want’s in for Madrid.

Real Madrid has arguably the toughest defense in La Liga, so Thibaut Courtois ($5,800) has to be a priority. While the last matchup between Los Blancos and Valencia ended in a 1-1 draw, but Courtois came away from the game with over 10 DKFP.
