The EPL now picks up pace with a constant serving of games. DraftKings’ main Saturday EPL slate includes three of those games. We have some players to consider from the slate below.
Set your lineups here: EPL $100K Counter Attack [$25K to 1st]
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($10,000)
Aubameyang didn’t have a great day in Manchester on Wednesday against City. His potential contributions were limited by a red card to David Luiz, reducing the number of times he touched the ball. As a result, he grew increasingly frustrated as the game progressed. He should have a better day out against Brighton on Saturday.
Raul Jimenez ($9,600)
Jimenez has been a beast for Wolves this season. He has comfortably led the production with 13 goals and 6 assists for Wolves thus far. He isn’t exactly a value selection, but with an average of 13.3 DKFP per game (second highest on this slate), he should generate expected fantasy returns.
Others to consider: Jordan Ayew ($7,900)
Adama Traore ($9,500)
Wolves has been blessed with their offensive core. Traore has provided plenty of speed and power along the right flank. He has been hard to defend with his nimble feet, particularly when he enters the box. He has added four goals and has also chipped in with seven assists to date.
Others to consider: Nicolas Pepe ($9,800).
Robert Snodgrass ($8,500)
Another pivotal cog in the West Ham offensive wheel, Snodgrass has done his part in a struggling season with five goals and five assists so far. His consistency has been a key reason for West Ham not being in the relegation zone yet and he has averaged 11.7 DKFP per game so far.
Matt Doherty ($5,900)
When looking to select a defender in fantasy soccer, there is a simple checklist to follow. One, the plausibility of a clean sheet based on the matchup. Two, the offensive spirit of a defender from that team. In this case, Doherty has the advantage of facing a stuttering West Ham team. He has scored four goals as well this season. Check, check.
Joel Ward ($4,200)
Joel Ward won’t score a lot of goals but at this price, you won’t get a player that satisfies the aforementioned criteria for a defender. Ward should satisfy the first of those though. Bournemouth has been plagued by injuries and as a result, they’ve scored just 29 goals this season. Crystal Palace has a fantastic chance of keeping a clean sheet.
Bernd Leno ($5,100)
Leno was outstanding against Manchester City on Wednesday. He was a major reason why the score was limited to 3-0. It could have been a lot worse had it not been for Leno’s impressive presence in front of goal. Arsenal should rectify their mistakes soon and put in a substantially better performance against Brighton on Saturday.
Others to consider: Rui Patricio ($5,300)
