Top Esports look to maintain their unbeaten run in the LPL, while T1 seek continued domination of Korea. We have a look at some strategies and picks to consider from Saturday’s mixed LPL-LCK slate on DraftKings.
Set your lineups here: LOL $100K Shock Blast [$25K to 1st] (LPL-LCK)
Captain
JackeyLove ($11,700)
JackeyLove has played just five games in the summer split. He has already moved his way to second in the LPL in kills per game. He has averaged 5.8 kills and 5.2 assists per game, taking his kill participation rate to 11. He is an explosive player, particularly offensively, playing for one of the best teams in China.
Other to consider: Teddy ($12,000)
Top
Rich ($5,600)
Rich had 9 kills in his opening fixture, second highest in his team. He had a combined KDA of 4.5/1/9. That prowess will undoubtedly reduce as this season progresses. However, this price is too good to ignore. He has averaged 94.1 DKFP per game. He also allows you the luxury of some high-priced selections elsewhere.
Other to consider: Canna ($6,600)

Jungler
Spirit ($6,200)
I’d be looking for another inexpensive jungler to create a better squad balance. He has added 10 assists per game this split. Again, these numbers will reduce moving forward but that doesn’t mean he can’t provide a strong ROI for a price as low as $6,200. His team, Afreeca Freecs, is also the favorite in this matchup.
Other to consider: Karsa ($6,800)
Mid
Knight ($7,800)
Many players have started the summer season well. Not many of them have the skill to sustain that brilliance over a long period. Considering the way Top Esports has started, I’d be careful of making the suggestion that Knight can’t keep up. He has averaged 6.43 kills per game over a period of 7 games, highest in the LCK, also producing in excess of 100 DKFP.
Other to consider: Faker ($7,400)
ADC
Teddy ($8,000)
In the spring split, Teddy finished with the highest KDA (7.13) in the LCK because of his defensive skill, keeping his death rate to 1.23 per game. This season, he has 3.33 kills and 3.33 assists per game with 2 deaths. Still, he has proved to be one of the best ADCs in Korea, which shouldn’t change through the entirety of the summer season.
Other to consider: Mystic ($7,600)
Support
Ben ($5,400)
Ben has already racked up 24 assists in summer in just two games, second-most in the LCK. Also, stacking from Afreeca Freecs isn’t a bad idea considering the manner in which they have begun this season. He didn’t get a lot of games in spring but he has already shown the value he adds to his team.
Team
Top Esports ($5,400)
The dominance with which Top Esports has begun this season is a statement to the rest of the LPL. They have won all three series so far. In these matches, they have lost just one map, fewest in the LPL, another indicator of their unmatched and unparalleled form.
