Best lineup strategy for Korean baseball DFS June 3rd

Casey Kelly is our top pitcher pick for Wednesday’s KBO slate. We break down other ideal options by position here.

The prices for the KBO’s five-game on Wednesday are up. We break down some ideal DFS picks for DraftKings classic contests below. You can set your lineup here.

Pitcher: Casey Kelly, LG Twins ($8,800)

Kelly tallied 10 strikeouts in his last game and has notched two scoreless quality starts in four appearances this season. He hasn’t given up a single home run this year, which is encouraging.

Catcher: Dong Won Park, Kiwoom Heroes ($4,200)

Park is the next option down from Eui Ji Yang ($5,800). Park has a better batting average (.317), as well as more home runs (6) and RBIs (22). I wouldn’t pay up for Yang, whose price has risen by $400 after going 0-for-3 in his last outing.

First Base: Roberto Ramos, LG Twins ($4,200)

The home run leaders’ price has continued to rise, but he’s still a bargain. He’s in a bit of a slump but is still riding an eight game hitting streak with a .373 batting average. Another option to consider is Jin Sung Kang ($3,800), who has been moved from Catcher to 1B/OF.

Second Base: Sang Su Kim, Samsung Lions ($4,600)

Kim is a one of the better leadoff hitters in the slate. He’s third in OBP (.469) and should get plenty of opportunities to make an impact.

Shortstop: Ha Seong Kim, Kiwoom Heroes ($5,700)

Seong’s batting average (.237) doesn’t show what he’s capable of, but he’s put together some solid stretches. He’s pricey, but has more upside than the other shortstops. I think he’s worth paying up for against a pitcher with one inning of work under his belt this season.

Third Base: Jeong Choi, SK Wyverns ($4,500)

Choi has been underachieving for some time but has finally found his stride. He’s tallied double-digits in fantasy points for five straight games while totaling nine RBIs. I like his odds of keeping the hot streak going against one of the Dinos’ weaker starters.

Outfield: Yong Ho Jo, KT Wiz ($2,600)

Jo has put together a nice string of games and is batting .429. Only Jose Fernandez has a higher average at the plate. His upside isn’t high, but his league-high .520 OBP makes him worth rostering.

Outfield: Jae Hwan Kim, Doosan Bears ($5,500)

Kim had a great game against Tuesday and tallied 19 DKFP after going 2-for-5 with a home run against the KT Wiz. He’s facing a pitcher who has just eight strikeouts in 21 23 innings with a 7.06 ERA. He could put together a solid stretch throughout this week’s series.
