Top 10-ranked featherweights face off tonight when Josh Emmett faces Shane Burgos at UFC on ESPN 11 as the co-main event. But should this entertaining fight be on your DFS roster? Most likely, yes.

DraftKings DFS Values

Josh Emmett: $7,500
Shane Burgos: $8,700

Burgos is a -162 favorite on the money line, with Emmett a slight underdog at +130.

Emmett is 6-2 in the UFC and his last three wins have all come by KO/TKO. He’s not afraid to swing, landing just 36% of his punches thrown but getting in 3.63 strikes per minute and with knockout ability. He also has two career submissions and 1.5 takedowns per 15 minutes in the octagon.

“Hurricane” Burgos lives up to his nickname by the numbers, averaging an astonishing 7.09 strikes per minute landed in the octagon. He’s 13-1 career, 6-1 in the UFC, and has 10 career stoppages. His last win over Makwan Amirkhani with a third-round TKO in November has him as the #10 contender in the division. He defends 90% of takedown attempts as well.

This might be the swing fight on the card tonight, so picking correctly here will have huge implications. It’s unreasonable to think this one goes the distance, so expect hands and feet to fly until there’s a finish. While the oddsmakers have this as a Burgos favorite, Emmett’s slightly more impressive stopping power despite disposing of slightly lesser opponents makes him more of a value, so we’ll have him on our primary rosters.

But if you lean towards Burgos winning, you’ll need to have him in the mix as well. This is the fight you’ll likely need to have to cash tonight.
