DraftKings will have yet another six-game slate of Madden simulations on Sunday. The Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts at Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders at Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans all go heads up today. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can set your lineup here.
Dak Prescott, Cowboys ($6,400) vs. Raiders
The Raiders have an awful defense that just gave up 17.6 DK points to Carson Wentz. Prescott hasn’t been putting up very good numbers of late, but his rushing stats continue to be strong, giving him a lot of upside in this matchup.
Mitchell Trubisky, Bears ($5,700) at Rams
Trubisky is the best quarterback going in this slate, but does have a tough matchup on the road. The good news is that he’s cheap and has put up big numbers on good defenses often. If the Bears had this Madden sims version of Trubisky, he’d still have a starting job and they’d probably win the Super Bowl.
Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys ($7,100) at Jaguars
Elliott has put up some big games of late, with five games over 17 DK points in his last six matchups. I’d rather pay up at running back due to the position’s overall weakness than at wide receiver if given the choice.
Damien Williams, Chiefs ($5,800) vs. Bills
Williams has put up 44 receptions in 13 games at home, which upped his home average to 15.4 DK points per game. The Bills are better against the pass than run as well, so I’m looking for some good upside from the Chiefs leading back.
T.Y. Hilton, Colts ($6,800) at Browns
Hilton hasn’t been consistent but his upside is crazy high. Coming off three straight single digit games could keep his roster percentage down and with 40 DK points upside, I like his chances against a bad Browns defense.
Jarvis Landry, Browns ($4,900) vs. Colts
Landry hasn’t been a big scorer, but has shown enough consistency to like in this strong matchup. The Colts have given up some big point totals of late as they’ve allowed 21 or more points in 10 of their last 11 matchups.
DeSean Jackson, Eagles ($4,800) vs. Panthers
Can we get a fourth-straight 18+ DK points game from Jackson today? Maybe, maybe not, but the price and upside are worth taking a gamble on if you need a player under 5k.
D.J. Moore, Panthers ($6,400) at Eagles
Moore has come on of late with nine games of 14 or more DK points out of his last 14. The Eagles pass defense isn’t a group you’d take home to meet your parents either.
David Njoku, Browns ($4,100) vs. Colts
Njoku has good upside in this matchup against a bad Colts defense. Zach Ertz, Travis Kelce and Darren Waller are all better plays, but if you need a little savings, he’s worth a roster spot.
Dallas Cowboys ($3,200) vs. Raiders
The Cowboys have four defensive touchdowns over their last ten games and have only allowed an opponent to top 20 points twice over their last 12. That’s pretty good.
