UPDATE: Fight day odds and betting splits for Perry-Gall
A gatekeeper welterweight will do battle with a new up-and-comer opponent on the main card of UFC on ESPN 12 when Mike Perry takes on Mickey Gall on Saturday in Las Vegas at the promotion’s Apex facility.
“Platinum” Perry is 13-6 overall, but has dropped is last two fights and five of his last seven in the octagon. He’s got 11 KO’s in his career, but the only two non-stoppage wins are his last two fights. He throws 4.27 strikes per minute in the UFC, but only with 0.61 takedowns per 15 minutes.
Gall is 5-2 in the UFC, joining the promotion after just one fight on the indies. He’s got five submissions in his career, and should look to win on the mat against the striker across the ring. He only averages 2.22 strikes a minute, but has 1.50 takedowns per 15 minutes, and that’s plenty considering the amount of time he spends in the ring: His last fight, a unanimous decision win against Salim Touahri, was the first time he’s finished all three rounds in the cage.
Here are the betting odds at DraftKings Sportsbook for Mike Perry vs. Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 12 on June 27th:
Money line odds
Mike Perry: -286
Mickey Gall: +220
