Captain
Harry Kane ($15,600)
Harry Kane hasn’t quite had the same impactful season as was the case in previous years. Despite that, he has still scored 11 goals this season in the Premier League. He has made his way to the top of England’s competitive international pool as well. This price for Kane is far too good to pass up.
Others to consider: Son Heung-Min ($17,100)
High-priced flex options
Dele Alli ($8,400)
Dele Alli should return to Tottenham’s lineup after serving his one-game suspension for a post on social media. He might partner Kane in an attacking capacity. He has scored eight goals this season, providing Tottenham with another avenue for dependability. It will be interesting to see if manager Jose Mourinho gives him the start in his first game back.
Son Heung-Min ($11,400)
Tottenham will be indebted to Son for stepping up during a tough time prior to the suspension of the Premier League with Harry Kane out injured as well. In total, he has managed nine goals and seven assists. That has translated into 15 DKFP per game, highest in this slate. He is also the most expensive player for this Showdown game.
Steven Bergwijn ($9,600)
Steven Bergwijn repaid the faith of his manager with a goal against Manchester United to open the final quarter of this season. Bergwijn has the capability to make an immediate impact from the right flank. He just needs some more playing time, which he will get as this season progresses. However, the question here is whether he will get the start. If he does, he could be a potent weapon.
Others to consider: Michail Antonio ($7,800).
Value flex options
Felipe Anderson ($5,800)
Felipe Anderson, the Brazilian midfielder, hasn’t made much of an impression so far, at least not indelible by any means. West Ham has endured a tough season so far. However, I’m going with just talent and skill for this selection because it will be desperately needed against a superior Tottenham team. Anderson has scored a goal with three assists. An addition to either of those tallies will give West Ham a chance.
Serge Aurier ($7,400)
Tottenham has the edge in this game. West Ham’s offense has huffed and puffed their way to 35 goals this season. Their loss to Wolves was another indicator that they will need some more offensive weapons in the transfer window. In any case, Aurier and Tottenham should keep a clean sheet. Aurier has also chipped in with five assists in the EPL.
Others to consider: Hugo Lloris ($7,600)
