The LCK resumes on Wednesday after a couple of days off. That takes DraftKings’ League of Legends slate to four games, including two games from the LPL. Here is a look at some picks to consider from each position for your roster.
Set your lineups here: LOL $175K Shock Blast [$50K to 1st] (LPL-LCK)
This is hardly a tough choice for Captain. If anything, the decision comes down to JackeyLove or Knight ($12,000). Between a mid laner and an ADC though, I’d always pick the bot laner. JackeyLove has averaged 5.8 kills per game along with 5.2 assists, taking his kill participation rate to 11. He has a creep score per minute of 9.23.
Others to consider: Knight ($12,000)
Ideally, this roster should be filled with players from Top Esports and players that ease the salary burden. Curse is part of the latter. You will need an inexpensive top laner to fill up your roster and Curse hasn’t been bad at all. Despite his team having lost seven of 11 games, he has still contributed with 2.82 kills and 4 assists per game.
Others to consider: 369 ($6,800)
Thus far, bonO has been middling through his season. He has managed 2.4 kills and 5.6 assists, earning him a kill participation of 8 and his KDA is just over 2 because of a high death rate. He has an opportunity to improve on that here with an advantageous LCK matchup on Wednesday.
Others to consider: Karsa ($7,200)
Knight has enjoyed an astounding season so far. He has averaged 6.43 kills per game, highest in the LPL. From a fantasy perspective, he has managed 103.8 DKFP, comfortably the highest on this slate. There is no player in the LPL or the LCK who has matched Knight’s skill this season.
Others to consider: Kuro ($7,200)
Against Gen.G on Sunday, Aiming had a combined KDA of 13/7/16 in a 2-1 defeat. He has been decent in the summer season so far, with an average of 2.8 kills, 2.4 deaths and 5.4 assists. That’s not bad for the LCK considering the difference in pace of play between the Korean League and the LPL.
Others to consider: Light ($7,800)
LNG’s impressive early-season form makes Duan a solid pick. He has managed nine assists this season in seven maps, taking his total to 63. He even has a decent KDA of 3.67. For this price, you’re unlikely to extract more value.
Team Dynamics ($4,800)
Both Team Dynamics and SeolHaeOne Prince have started the season with a 1-1 series record. Team Dynamics has won three of five maps so far. There is hardly anything to separate these two teams either. I’d pick Dynamics in order to complete the roster.
