Studs
Raul Jimenez ($10,500)
Jimenez has been a highly undervalued striker in the Premier League. Maybe that’s because he is surrounded by the biggest names in soccer. He has stood out due to his consistency and skill for a team that needs both. He has scored 14 goals this season, same as Sadio Mane and Marcus Rashford. He even scored in Wolves’ previous game against West Ham.
Others to consider: Marcus Rashford ($9,500)
Values
Dominic Calvert-Lewin ($7,100)
Calvert-Lewin has primarily played as the solitary striker for Everton but has been given able support from Richarlison ($7,600) to his left. Like Jimenez, Calvert-Lewin has been underrated too. He has scored 13 goals this season, alongside the likes of Tammy Abraham and Harry Kane. Calvert-Lewin has been Everton’s most prolific goal scorer this season by a distance.
Midfielders
Studs
Bruno Fernandes ($11,300)
I can argue that this price for Fernandes is a bit too high, however he does add plenty of value to your team. He scored from the penalty spot to eke out a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Tottenham in the previous gameweek. He has averaged 22.8 DKFP per game, the highest for any player on this slate, albeit with a smaller sample size than the rest.
Others to consider: Anthony Martial ($8,800).
Values
Adama Traore ($9,200)
Slowly but steadily, Traore is making progress up the goal participation charts. He now has four goals and eight assists this season and he has provided another dimension to Wolves’ offense with his speed and agility down the right wing. At $9,200, will he provide a return worthy of his price? I’d say yes.
Defenders
Studs
Lucas Digne ($6,400)
Digne is priced so high because of his offensive contributions. He takes the corners and free kicks for Everton, which gives him a higher chance of adding an assist or two. In total, he has chipped in with five assists this season. Everton is also expected to keep a clean sheet against a struggling Norwich team.
Values
Danny Rose ($4,100)
The reason for this selection is two-fold. One, Newcastle is coming into this game on the back of a 3-0 win against Sheffield United at home in their previous game, which should inspire plenty of confidence. Two, their upcoming opponents, Aston Villa, will play their third game in seven days, which is bound to leave them fatigued.
Goalkeepers
David De Gea ($5,900)
Sheffield United has enjoyed a fantastic season so far. One criticism could be the lack of offensive firepower to get themselves back into games, like was the case against Newcastle. This will also be the team’s third game in a week, like Aston Villa. Manchester United should use the extra rest to keep a clean sheet.
Others to consider: Rui Patricio ($5,700).
