There will be a Wednesday English Premier League game between first place Liverpool and Crystal Palace at 3:15 p.m. ET. DraftKings will have Showdown contests available for the match, and we break down some ideal picks below. You can set your lineups here.

Captain’s Picks

Many might be attracted to Mo Salah in this match, but the forward didn’t play in his team’s first match since march because of an unexpected injury his teammate suffered. Rather than banking on him as the most expensive player, I’d opt for Trent Alexander-Arnold ($15,300). He’s reached at least 10 DKFP in nine of his last 10 games and has the highest floor in the contest. He also averages more fantasy points per game (18.4) than any other option.

Jordan Ayew ($11,400) scored for Crystal Palace his last time out and is one of the best in the business at drawing fouls. He’s scored three goals in his last four appearances and hasn’t dipped below 16 fantasy points during that span.

Flex Plays

Patrick van Aanolt ($5,800) is one of the more consistent fullbacks you’ll come across. Although his numbers were inflated by an assist against Bournemouth, he averages about a shot per game and sends in crosses frequently.

If you really want to take a risk, consider playing Vicente Guaita ($3,800). Even though Liverpool is the top scoring team in the EPL, scoring is down and players are rust. Liverpool tied Everton 0-0 and could give Guaita a ton of chances to rack up saves. If you expect Liverpool’s underwhelming goal production to continue, this could be a major variance play.
