Forwards

Studs

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($10,000)
Aubameyang hasn’t quite hit his strides yet after the resumption of the Premier League. Arsenal has slumped to two straight losses. Their previous loss, a 2-1 defeat to Brighton, will hurt them a lot more because Neal Maupay scored in Brighton’s last possession of the game. Manager Mikel Arteta and Arsenal will look to their leader Aubameyang to overcome his sub-par form on the road to Southampton.

Values

Danny Ings ($9,300)
Danny Ings would normally be priced a lot higher than this. Up against Arsenal, his price has lowered a touch, which is why he moves into the value category. He has scored 16 goals this season, tied for fourth in the EPL. He has provided so much offensive depth to Southampton after a lackluster start to the season, particularly in the air in the box.

Others to consider: Troy Deeney ($7,000)

Midfielders

Studs

Nicolas Pepe ($9,200)
Pepe didn’t play against Manchester City. He started against Brighton and scored immediately. He made some room for himself, opened up his left foot and unleashed a curling goal past the keeper. His talent has been evident right from the outset. It’s not surprising he has averaged 11.8 DKFP, second highest in this slate.

Others to consider: James Ward-Prowse ($8,300).

Values

Dwight McNeil ($7,800)
Dwight McNeil was disallowed from contributing much by a significantly superior Manchester City in Burnley’s previous game. That isn’t the case in the 29 games that preceded that fixture, though. He has chipped in with two goals and five assists for Burnley, adding another dimension to a team that has been desperate for goals.

Defenders

Studs

Hector Bellerin ($5,000)
Bellerin’s inclusion here is more from a defensive standpoint. He has been solid down the right flank in Arsenal’s defense. After conceding five goals in their first two games after the suspension, Arsenal will be desperate for a clean sheet. If they keep it, Bellerin will be influential in that result if he gets the start.

Values

Ben Mee ($2,900)
If you’re looking for an extremely inexpensive player, Ben Mee is not a bad option at all. The centre-back has been a solid presence in Burnley’s defense. Watford has scored just 28 goals this season, second fewest in the Premier League. Burnley should correct the errors they made against Manchester City and put in a much better defensive display.

Goalkeepers

Emiliano Martinez ($4,400)

Martinez was needed by Arsenal after a tackle from Neil Maupay forced Bernd Leno to be stretchered off against Brighton. He did a steady job but couldn’t prevent Brighton from stealing the game at the end. It’s unclear if Leno will be back this season. Martinez will have to step up in his absence, starting with a crucial game against Southampton on Thursday.

Others to consider: Ben Foster ($4,900)
