Four more games are scheduled from Korea and China’s premier League of Legends competitions on Saturday. Here is a primer of the players to target for DraftKings’ mixed LPL-LCK slate.
Set your lineups here: LOL $120K Triumphant Warrior [$30K to 1st] (LPL-LCK)
Captain
Lwx ($12,000)
Lwx and Doinb can’t be separated. In terms of kills, they both finished with the exact same number of kills. In summer, that has not changed. Both have averaged 3.73 kills per game in 11 games in this season as well. However, I’m looking at Lwx as Captain because of a slightly better KDA on account of a lower death rate.
Others to consider: Doinb ($12,000)
Top
Nuguri ($6,200)
A top laner from the LCK seems to be a decent starting point for your roster. That’s because the death rate in the LCK is slightly lower than the LPL. Interestingly, Nuguri has a high death rate of 2.86 per game but he has an exceptionally high kill participation rate: 3.14 kills and 5.57 assists per game.
Others to consider: Rascal ($6,000)
Jungler
Clid ($6,800)
Gen.G has a flair for the dramatic. In the team’s previous game, Gen G. won the first map against Damwon Gaming, then lost the second. In the third, the team slumped early in terms of itemization but came storming back to win the game. Clid had a major part to play in that turnaround. Overall, he has some steady numbers, which he could improve on.
Others to consider: Tian ($7,000)
Mid
Angel ($8,200)
Suning start as heavy favorites against Dominus Esports. That means you will need at least one player from that team and mid laner Angel could be the target. He has been decent, adding 2.36 kills to 5.86 assists per game. His KDA has risen to nearly five because he has been strong defensively.
Others to consider: Doinb ($8,000)
ADC
Wink ($7,400)
It’s hard to make the tough decision of picking a player that will go up against FunPlus Phoenix. That decision is made slightly easier if the player is Wink. It’s also a decent hedging play if FunPlus doesn’t find its best form. Here are Wink’s summer numbers: 4.23 kills, 2.31 deaths and 5.77 assists per game.
Others to consider: Huanfeng ($8,400)
Support
BeryL ($5,200)
BeryL has generated some stunning stats this season. In seven games, he has racked up an average of 3.14 kills and 6.43 assists with just 1.71 deaths. These are astounding numbers for a support player. This won’t continue for much longer, but it’s an opportunity for now.
Team
Suning ($5,400)
Suning has been decent in this LPL with a 3-3 record. The team has also evenly split its 14 maps. Dominus Esports, on the other hand, has lost all five series so far. In terms of depth of personnel, I can’t see Dominus competing against a solid team.
