The NASCAR Cup Series’ Pocono Organics 325 is set to run Saturday at Pocono Raceway. It will be the first of two races at the venue this weekend, as the Pocono 350 is schedule for Sunday. The Pocono 325 will be aired at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX while the Pocono 350 will be aired at 4:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
The starting grid for the Pocono Organics 325 will be determined by random draws that account for where each driver stands in the points race. Sunday’s Pocono 350 starting grid will see the top half of the order the inverse of Saturday’s finish.
Here’s how the starting order for Saturday’s race will be determined.
- Positions 1-12: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
- Positions 13-24: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
- Positions 25-36: Random draw from charter teams in those positions in owner points
- Positions 37-40: Open, non-chartered teams in order of owners points
Kyle Busch (+500) is the favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook despite being winless this year. He’s won two of his last four races at Pocono Raceway, so maybe he’ll be able to get back on track at a place where he’s had so much success in recent years. Busch even with Cup Series leader Kevin Harvick (+500), and Chase Elliott (+700) rounds out the top three.
Denny Hamlin (+750) has more wins than any other driver in the field at Pocono Raceway, but Ryan Blaney (+1100) has been very impressive as of late and notched his first win of the season at the GEICO 500 on Monday.
Here’s how the starting order for the Pocono Organics 325 looks.
