Best, sleeper options to consider for NASCAR Cup Series DFS at Pocono on Saturday

We break down some top picks for Saturday’s Pocono Organics 325.

The NASCAR Cup Series’ Pocono Organics 325 is set to begin Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Pocono Raceway on FOX. DraftKings has DFS contests available for the race, and we break down some ideal picks and sleepers below. You can set your lineup here.

Best Bets

Denny Hamlin ($8,800)

Hamlin has more Pocono wins than any other driver in the field and won last year’s race. He’s tallied three top five finishes in his last four races and isn’t far removed from a win at the Dixie Vodka 400 gives him the third best odds (+700) to win.

Ryan Blaney ($9,100)

Blaney has tallied four straight top five finishes. Although he’s only raced at Pocono eight times, he has the fifth best average finish (11.50) in the field and one win at the venue. He won his first race of the season at the GEICO 500 last weekend and will start in third on the grid with the No. 2 pit stall.

Sleeper Picks

Erik Jones ($7,100)

Jones has four top five finishes in his six races at Pocono, which gives him the best average finishing position (8.33) in the field. Although he doesn’t have a win at the track, he’s only finished outside the top 10 once in his career.

Michael McDowell ($5,500)

McDowell might not be in the running to win, but he’s finished inside the top 20 in six of the nine races he’s been in since May. He’s dirt cheap and has solid upside because of point differential, as he’s starting in 26th. He’s also bolstered his ceiling by recording some fast laps as well.
