Captain
Betty ($11,400)
Despite Royal Never Give Up’s surprising defeats this season, Betty has still been a consistent force, which is all his team can ask for. He has been RNG’s most prolific killing weapon, with 4.21 kills per game in 13 maps. He even has the best KDA in the team with 6.47. Even though RNG has a tricky fixture against Team WE, I’d back his skill and form.
Others to consider: Light ($11,700)
Top
Morgan ($6,000)
Morgan has kept his K/D ratio to 1, which is a decent return for a top laner. It’s important to contribute in other areas if that’s the K/D. Morgan has done just that with 8.07 assists, taking his KDA to 4.9. He is averaging 75.5 DKFP, highest for top laners in this slate.
Others to consider: Kingen ($5,800)
Jungler
Beishang ($6,600)
Beishang has owned the jungle this split. Flanking or straight-up fight engagement, it doesn’t really matter. He has averaged 3.87 kills, which is an extremely high kill rate for a jungler. He even had 7.4 assists in this period. His KDA of 5.28 is the highest for his team. This has translated into 83.1 DKFP per game.
Others to consider: XLB ($7,000)
Mid
Maple ($7,600)
Bilibili Gaming hasn’t started this season well at all. The tone was set with a 2-0 drubbing at the hands of Vici Gaming to open this split. As a result, stacking from LNG might not be a bad idea. Maple has just 2.71 kills and 5.5 assists per game. That kill participation rate is a tad low for a mid laner but he has an opportunity here to improve on that.
Others to consider: Teacherama ($7,200)
ADC
Light ($7,800)
Bilibili Gaming might end up completing the upset win but on paper, LNG starts as heavy favorites. Having the mid laner and ADC combination from there could be productive. Light has led LNG in kills with 3.5 per game. He has a very solid KDA of 4.58 with a creep score per minute of 9.04 with gold collection of 420 per minute.
Others to consider: Jiumeng ($7,200)
Support
Ming ($5,600)
At this point, you should have enough to spend on the most expensive support player in this slate. Ming has been decent so far, adding 7.64 assists to his 0.64 kills per map. He has been a useful complementary player to Betty, protecting the bot laner in 2v2 fight situations.
Team
Royal Never Give Up ($5,000)
To be honest, I can’t pick one winner between these four teams with any certainty. This is as tight as they come. Bilibili Gaming is due a win. Hence, I would just go with the most skilled roster, which is Royal Never Give Up in my opinion. They were recently beaten 2-0, which will incentivize them to bring their best.
