Top NFL Targets at each position for 6-game slate on June 29th

Daniel Jones has been one of the most consistent forces we’ve seen in Madden sims when playing at home. We think he can keep rolling in Monday’s six-game slate.

DraftKings will have yet another six-game slate of Madden simulations on Monday. The Cleveland Browns at Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs at New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts at New Orleans Saints all go heads up today. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can set your lineup here.

Quarterback

Drew Brees, Saints ($8,000) vs. Colts

Brees gets the Colts defense at home, which has given up 17 or more points in their last eight road games and 20 or more in seven of their last eight. They can’t get to the quarterback or get turnovers while Brees has good upside.

Daniel Jones, Giants ($5,600) vs. Chiefs

Jones has been much better at home, averaging 20.4 DK points in the simulated Meadowlands vs. 15.5 DK points on the road. At home he averaged 268 yards passing and two touchdowns per game. The Chiefs pass defense is their weakness.

Running back

Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys ($7,000) at Broncos

Elliott has been one of the higher upside backs during these simulations after a slow start. I like him on the road a little better, as he sees a lot more receiving work away from Dallas. Denver’s defense is weak against the run, so he should have a good chance to hit his upside.

Alvin Kamara, Saints ($6,700) vs. Colts

Kamara will be a popular play, as he has been absolutely going off of late. In his last eight games he has DK point totals of 21.4, 12.9, 30.3, 20.4, 45.8, 20.4, and 20.1, with one dud against the Panthers. The Colts defense has been getting waylaid in these simulations and with Kamara’s upside and receiving chops, he is a great play.

Wide Receiver

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Steelers ($7,800) vs. Eagles

Simulated Smith-Schuster has been on a roll with five touchdowns through his last six games. The Eagles pass defense is not good either and the battle for Pennsylvania should feature ther passing game, as both teams have strong run defenses.

Ted Ginn Jr., Saints ($3,700) vs. Colts

Ginn Jr. has topped 23 DK points in three of his last four games and topped 12 DK points in 10 of his last 12 matchups. That kind of production and floor in a good matchup for such a small price is hard to pass up.

Golden Tate, Giants ($6,200) vs. Chiefs

Tate is inconsistent but does have nice upside with DK points of 21.5, 18.3 and 31.2 over his last five games. I’m going to stack Tate with Daniel Jones and possibly Evan Engram here, so Saquon Barkley will probably have 50 DK points.

Tight End

Evan Engram, Giants ($5,000) vs. Chiefs

Engram has topped 12 DK points in 12 of his last 14 games. He’s also hit 20 DK points in four of his last seven. The Chiefs are an up and down defense but can give up big games. An Engram, Daniel Jones, Golden Tate stack is worth exploring.

Defense/Special Teams

Pittsburgh Steelers ($2,600) vs. Eagles

The Steelers have 34 sacks, 12 turnovers, two safeties and two defensive touchdowns in 14 simulated home games. They aren’t putting up huge DK points but have decent upside and a higher floor at home, where they average 5.9 DK points.
