How the race order will be set for Saturday’s EchoPark 250

NASCAR’s Xfinity Series is back on Saturday for its Atlanta race. We break down how the race order will be determined for the EchoPark 250.

NASCAR’s Xfinity Series returns to action on Saturday afternoon at Atlanta Motor Speedway with the EchoPark 250. The race will run at 4:30 p.m. ET on June 6th, shortly after the Camping World 200 Truck Series race wraps up. FOX will broadcast the Xfinity Series race.

NASCAR will not hold traditional qualifying runs through the Talladega races June 20th and 21st. To cut down on events and attempt to protect health and safety, the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series are using random draws connected to points standings.

The Xfinity Series will use the following process for determining the starting grid for the EchoPark 250 on Saturday:

  • Positions 1-12: The first 12 NXS Teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up Eligibility will be assigned starting positions 1st – 12th using a random draw.
  • Positions 13-24: The next 12 NXS Teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up eligibility will be assigned starting positions 12th- 24th using a random draw.
  • Starting positions 25-36: The next 12 NXS Teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up eligibility will be assigned starting positions 25th -36th using a random draw.
  • Any vehicles that are eligible for the Event in positions 37th – 40th will be assigned starting positions based on their order of eligibility.

DraftKings Sportsbook has installed Chase Briscoe as the favorite at +250. He is followed by Justin Allgaier (+450), Ross Chastain (+650), Austin Cindric (+700) and Harrison Burton and Brandon Jones (both +800).

Here is the complete race order, with Noah Gragson in the pole position, followed by Daniel Hemric, Justin Allgaier, and Justin Haley.
