How the public is betting Neil Magny vs. Anthony Rocco Martin for UFC 250

Update 11:01 pm: Neil Magny wins by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

The broadcast team certainly didn’t think it was that big a spread, and Martin was very much not happy about the decision, but Magny certainly dominated the third round.

Update 3:30 pm: We’ve got updated DraftKings Sportsbook betting splits for Magny-Martin money line odds a few hours before UFC 250 gets going. 54 percent of handle and 62 percent of bets are on Magny, who is a -136 favorite on fight day. Martin is sitting at +108.

The cash is on the underdog so far in the welterweight bout between Neil Magny and Anthony Rocco Martin tonight at UFC 250.

Despite being a +105 priced fighter, Martin is getting 36% of the handle and 54% of the handle on the moneyline for the fight. If that continues, you might see his price fall back closer to even or a smidge worse.

Even though he’s favored to be the winner, Magny’s lack of finishing has put a premium on him winning early. At +750 for a submission and +900 for a KO or TKO, there’s a lot of value if he can end it early. The early bettors seem to have found some value here too, with 20% of the bets and 55% of the action on a knockout for Magny.

Two of Magny’s last five wins in the UFC have come by knockout, as have seven of his 22 career wins to go along with three submissions.
