The most competitive fight according to bookmakers and bettors on the card at UFC 250 tonight is Aljamain Sterling vs. Cory Sandhagen, as it’s the rare pure coinflip according to those accepting the wagers.

As of now Sandhagen is getting a smidge more action with 54% of the handle and bets, but this should be a fantastic fight. UFC President Dana White said in a media call that this bout will serve as an eliminator for the vacant bantamweight championship, not a surprise as Sterling enters as the #2 contender in the division with Sandhagen #4.

You’ve got to really get in the weeds to find a separation between the talent here, but Sandhagen to win by TKO/KO/DQ is getting some early love at 21% of the bets and 22% of cash with a +500 premium. One-third of Sandhagen’s 12 career wins have come via punchout.

And with a matchup that’s this close, the tie bet at 50-1 is getting far more action than you’d normally see: It’s receiving 2% of the bets but 5% of the handle. That’s a lot of action thinking the judges might not even be able to decide this.
