NASCAR returns to The Fastest Track in the South today for the EchoPark 250 live from Atlanta Motor Speedway. The Xfinity Series races drops the green flag at 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox, and DraftKings will of course have DFS contests for the race. We break down some of the best picks to round out your roster below, and you can enter your choice of contest here.
Best Options
AJ Allmendinger ($11,600)
At least he’s not Kyle Busch in a truck race expensive, but he is the priciest driver on the board. But Allmendinger proved at Charlotte last week he can move from the back to the run, going from 27th to 10th and adding nine fastest laps for 56 fantasy points. He’ll start 30th today, which gives him even more place points to be added to his total score.
Justin Allgaier ($10,700)
It’s pretty hard to pick up 84 fantasy points and still finish 18th in a race, but that’s what Allgaier did at Bristol last time out. He set 54 fastest laps and led for 156 laps, but had his teammate Noah Gragson spin him out on the last one to cost him the win. The car is fast, he can really drive it, and has 39 or more points in five of seven races this season.
Sleeper Options
Brett Moffitt ($7,800)
Started both of the last two races in 22nd position, but finished 11th at Darlington and sixth at Charlotte for an average of 49 points per race. He begins in 13th today, but his price is actually cheaper than it’s been the last two weeks. He’s worth a spin.
Ryan Sieg ($7,500)
Starting in the seven-hole today, in five races he’s had finishes of third, fourth, seventh, ninth, and 11th before struggling. The last two weeks averaging just seven fantasy points in the last two races, and it’s been a stretch of bad luck, but he’s got the horsepower and car to compete. Let’s hope he can get it correct today.
