Top NFL Targets at each position for 6-game slate on June 8th

Russell Wilson has been one of the most consistent forces we’ve seen in Madden sims. We think he can keep rolling in Monday’s six-game slate.

DraftKings will have yet another six-game slate of Madden simulations on Monday. Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots at Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams at New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks at New York Giants, Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos all go head-to-head today. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can set your lineup here.

Russell Wilson, Seahawks ($7,800) at Giants

Wilson’s rushing ability keeps him as a strong play every time he starts. This game has him in a nice matchup against the Giants poor pass defense. In his last two games he’s put up mediocre totals, but the six games before those all went over 21 DK points.

Mitchell Trubisky, Bears ($5,900) vs. Patriots

The Patriots have an amazing pass defense in Madden, but more often than you’d think, they get scorched in these simulations. So, I’m not against playing quarterbacks against them. The good news with Trubisky is that he has great rushing numbers to keep his numbers up.

Running back

Todd Gurley, Rams ($6,300) at Jets

Gurley has 15 games with 12 or more DK points and 11 with 18 or more. His receiving numbers continue to push his floor up while he has tournament winning upside in each matchup. Remember what a healthy Gurley was like? He’s close to that in these simulations.

James White, Patriots ($5,900) at Bears

The Bears defen se isn’t who I’d want to target usually, but White has good upside and gets enough receiving work to be useful in most games. He’s hit 17 DK points in six of his last nine games and is cheap enough to work into any lineup.

Wide Receiver

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Steelers ($6,500) at Raiders

Smith-Schuster has been the best play for the Steelers throughout these simulations and he gets a great matchup with the hapless Raiders pass defense. I could see stacking Ben Roethlisberger and the non Smith-Schuster receivers into a contrarian lineup in this matchup.

Robert Woods, Rams ($5,600) at Jets

Woods has been pretty consistent of late and gets a strong matchup against a weak Jets pass defense. Brandin Cooks also has nice upside in this matchup, which could be a useful stack with Jared Goff.

Allen Robinson, Bears ($7,000) vs. Patriots

Maybe Stephon Gilmore will scare people off Robinson, who has five touchdowns in his last four matchups. His biggest game in that stretch was against a tough Bills pass defense when he scored two touchdowns and went over 100 yards.

Tight End

Benjamin Watson, Patriots ($4,100) at Panthers

Watson continues to put up big numbers as one of Tom Brady’s few targets. He’ll likely be highly rostered even against the Bears, but his price is useful for his great upside.

Defense/Special Teams

New York Jets ($2,200) vs. Rams

The Jets have 24 turnovers and 42 sacks in 21 simulations. They also have seven or more DK points in their last four matchups. At $2,200, it’s hard to pass them up.
