The New York Giants and San Francisco will face off in a simulated Madden 20 game Wednesday, and DraftKings will have DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal showdown lineup strategy for the contest, which you can play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

Quarterbacks don’t seem like the best play in this matchup, as San Francisco has an elite secondary to defend the pass against Daniel Jones. The 49ers are also a run-heavy team, so Tevin Coleman ($12,300) will likely be a popular captain’s pick that can return significant value. He’s multifaceted, scores touchdowns, and often gets a ton of touches. George Kittle ($13,800) is the top pass catcher and best tight end in the game, so he should also receive some looks.

Even though San Francisco also has plenty of talent on the defensive line, Saquon Barkley ($14,100) should still be a factor. He has a good chance to lead all running backs and receivers in touches and will likely be the driving force behind the Giants offense if they get hot.

Flex Men

Barkley can eat up plenty of yards without scoring, so playing San Francisco’s defense/special teams ($3,800) could be a bargain option that returns double digits in points. Richard Sherman and Joey Bosa can transform a game as Superstar X-Factors, and two other 49ers have superstar traits.

Darius Slayton ($6,600) is an inexpensive wild card to watch out for at wide receiver. He’s lit up solid secondaries with monster games from time to time. A more consistent option would be Evan Engram ($7,800), who leads all Giants pass catchers in DKFP per game.
