How the public is betting English Premier League matches today, including West Ham-Chelsea

Four matches today in the EPL, including West Ham trying to stay up, and Chelsea looking to lock in the Champions League

There are four matches in the English Premier League today, and though the trophy has been claimed by Liverpool, there is still plenty to play for. With some teams competing to play in European competition next year, and others trying to avoid relegation, it’s a fun slate with the favorites getting plenty of early action at DraftKings Sportsbook.

At 1:00 p.m. ET Arsenal hosts Norwich City, with The Canaries deep in a coal mine as play begins today. Norwich seem almost certain candidates for relegation with just 21 points, and the three closest teams to them all having 27. They’ll have to come away with something today, and a win might be needed just to stay breathing. Norwich have scored only 25 goals through 31 matches, dead last in the EPL, while conceding 56 times which is second-most in the league.

Also at 1:00 p.m. Bournemouth hosts Newcastle, and The Cherries are in that relegation mix with Norwich, West Ham, Aston Villa, and Watford. Three of the five will be in the Football League Championship next season, and it makes not only every match but every goal important. Bournemouth have 27 points on a -21 on goal difference (29 scored, 50 allowed), putting them behind West Ham who also have 27, but are -19 (35 scored, 54 conceded). Both clubs can overtake Aston Villa with any points today, who also have 27 but have played an extra match already.

And at 3:15 p.m. West Ham hosts Chelsea at London Stadium for a derby of capital clubs. The Hammers need points to stay alive, while Chelsea salted away the league for Liverpool with their 2-1 win over Manchester City last Thursday, and backed that up with a 1-0 win at Leicester City on Sunday. They need points in their final seven matches to stay in the UEFA Champions League next season, providing plenty of incentive to score on their neighbors early and often. Although American Christian Pulisic has been a revelation for them at striker during the restart of the season, he is questionable today with calf tightness.
