The UFC Bantamweight Championship is on the line at Fight Island when Petr Yan takes on Jose Aldo at UFC 251 on July 11th from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. But what DFS value is there in this fight?

DraftKings DFS Values

Petr Yan: $9,300
Jose Aldo: $6,900

Yan is a -215 favorite to win, with the veteran Aldo the +175 underdog.

Yan is 6-0 in the UFC with three stoppages, but only his first fight in the promotion against Teruto Ishihara was a first round ending. He does show a lot of activity however, with 5.65 strikes per minute of octagon time, and 1.76 takedowns per 15 minutes as well.

Aldo defends a massive 91% of takedowns however, and only lands 3.47 punches per 60 seconds. There’s not a ton of opportunity here for an early ending, so this might be one to avoid for DFS purposes.

If you think the veteran Aldo can pull the upset, and he did get two stoppage wins before falling via decision in his last two fights, you might be onto something. But this fight seems well-priced, so unless you can find an early ending it might be one to stay away from on your roster.
