Day lost his only UFC fight so far to Pingyuan Liu in November of 2018 via controversial split decision, and has an 8-3 career record. Injuries forced him to miss further fights, and he’s now looking for his first victory in almost two years. The 31-year-old from Hawai’i has three knockouts and two submission wins on the independent circuit.
Grant is 11-4 career mark, with a 2-3 record in the UFC. The 34-year-old from Bishop Auckland, England has eight submission wins and a KO, and wants to get fights on the mat as much as possible averaging 2.64 takedowns per 15 minutes in the UFC. His last bout was a split decision win over Grigory Popov in November of last year. He’s never been knocked out or lost a decision, as all four of his defeats are via tapping out.
