The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will face off in a Madden simulation Sunday at 10 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.

Captain’s Pick

DK Metcalf, Seahawks ($11,700)

The last time these teams met in the simulation, Metcalf went off for five receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns while Tyler Lockett did zilch. I’ll give that zilch to Stephon Gillmore and give Metcalf the Captain’s slot for a shot at another huge game.

Flex options

Russell Wilson, Seahawks ($11,000)

Wilson is straight cash in the simulation as he’;s averaging a stout 22.2 DK points in 33 games. His rushing numbers are what keep his numbers so high, as they are quite consistent. He’ll be heavily rostered for good reason.

Mohamed Sanu, Patriots ($7,000)

There are plenty of players to pick from in this matchup, but Sanu’s price coupled with nice upside and better play on the road pushes me toward him as a value play.

James White, Steelers ($8,600)

White is hard to keep off your simulation team, as he’s been awesome. I prefer it at home, where he gets a lot more receiving work, so I can see fading, but his price is too good for his upside.
