The Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals will face off in a Madden sim Monday at 12:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings before kickoff.
DeVante Parker ($14,400) could be primed for a big game in this one. He might not have an elite rating in Madden, but his 84 overall trumps the 81 overall William Jackson III — Cincinnati’s best cornerback — has to offer. Parker’s above average speed, jumping, and spectacular catching give him big play potential.
Ryan Fitzpatrick ($16,500) is my quarterback pick for a couple reasons. First off, the Dolphins have a better secondary than the Bengals. Xavien Howard is one of three Miami defensive backs with an overall rating above 80. Only Jackson cracks that mark for the Bengals. The Dolphins also have a little less variety in their offense, as running backs aren’t nearly as involved on the ground or through the air.
Tyler Eifert ($7,200) might have moved on from the Bengals in real life, but he’s still proving to be a reliable option in the sim world capable of breaking a slates. His floor is about as high as most of the starting receivers in this game. Albert Wilson ($5,600) and Jakeem Grant ($4,400) as also cheaper pass catchers worth rostering.
