Orlando City and New York City Football Club are set to face off Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET in the MLS is Back Tournament, and both sides have only played in one game this month. DraftKings has DFS available for the game, and we go over the best Showdown strategies for the below. Set your lineups here.
Nani ($18,300) has seen his price rise significantly for a good reason. He served as his team’s savior against Inter Milan and tallied one assist before netting the game-winning goal. He’s picking up right where he left off last season by contributing to all facets of the game in a major way.
New York failed to score in their first match of the tournament, and hadn’t scored in the three matches before the shutdown, so a lot could come from captaining Ronald Matarrita ($10,800). The defender leads his club in DKFP per game (10.4) and steadily sends in crosses. While he might not tally a goal or assist, he has a high floor and allows you to stack the flex with Orlando City’s better players.
Chris Mueller ($9,400) was one of the few players who could consistently pressure Inter Miami in Orlando City’s first MLS is Back Tournament game. He’s scored two goals on seven shots this year and has put most of his chances on target so far.
Pedro Gallese ($5,200) has only had to make three saves in four games this year, and he could see less of the ball than usual against a rusty NYCFC team that’s enduring a scoring drought. His price is great for a player with a good shot at getting a win and a shutout. Orlando controlled the game against a talented Inter Miami team and could continue to benefit from the bubble environment.
