How the public is betting Tim Elliott vs. Ryan Benoit

Tim Elliott faces off against Ryan Benoit in a flyweight bout at UFC on ESPN 13 from Fight Island on July 15th. We break down how the betting public is picking the fight.

It’s a flyweight battle between 12th-ranked Tim Elliott and Ryan Benoit in the flyweight division on Fight Island at UFC on ESPN 13 tonight. But who are the bettors backing?

Elliott is 15-11-1 with nine career stoppages, but is just 2-5 since joining the UFC and had a two-year layoff between December of 2017 and October of 2019. His last three fights are all losses: He tapped out via arm-triangle to Brandon Royval on May 30th, and lost unanimous decision to Askar Askarov plus a first-round choke by Deiveson Figueiredo before that.

Benoit has also struggled since joining the UFC, with a 3-4 mark in the promotion. He had a two-year absence from November 2017 until December 2019, where he lost to Heili Alateng in a split decision. He averages just 2.8 strikes per minute landed. This is the rare co-main event where both fighters might be scrapping to keep themselves in the UFC.
